Nayab Singh Saini to take oath as Haryana CM for 2nd time on October 17

Nayab Singh Saini has been selected as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislature Party and will take oath as Chief Minister of the state for the second time tomorrow, October 17.

After being chosen as leader of Haryana BJP Legislative party, Nayab Singh Saini said, “The people of Haryana have placed their faith in the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and formed the BJP government for the third time and the people have resolved to carry forward the vision of Prime Minister Modi to make India developed by 2047.”
He added, “I had announced that the results of the recruitment exam of 24,000 youths will be declared first and after that, I will take oath. Fulfilling that promise, the results will be declared tomorrow. The BJP does what it says.”

At the Haryana BJP Legislative Party meeting in Panchkula, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “I am very happy that you all have again chosen Nayab Singh Saini as your leader…”
“It was propagated that injustice is being done to the farmers. I want to tell the opposition that if there is any state in the whole country which buys 24 crops on MSP, it is Haryana. I want to tell them that if anyone has done the work of purchasing the maximum number of crops at MSP, then it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi…,” he added.
Notably, Saini’s name was proposed by MLAs-elect Krishan Kumar Bedi and Anil Vij. The swearing-in ceremony will be attended by PM Modi, Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, among others.
Meanwhile, Saini secured the Ladwa assembly seat, winning by 16,054 votes over his closest opponent, Mewa Singh from Congress. BJP won 48 out of the 90 assembly seats, which is two more than the majority threshold. In contrast, Congress won only 37 seats.
